M. Singh is a young artist who has been expressing himself with art for the last decade or so. He is a B.Com graduate with a keen eye for colors and a talented hand to draw figures. With no formal schooling in art, M Singh has been pursuing his passion with a dedicated focus. He is currently based out of Thane and has developed a signature style.
His paintings have a theme of the Indian village or an Indian city, washed in earth tones. He depicts the houses to be physically close to one another despite being numerous. M. Singh uses textures and mixes various colors to give his paintings movement and depth. His abstract art sends the viewer back into a tailspin of stories of their city, home, or village. M. Singh has also painted Maharashtra’s favorite divinity- Lord Ganesha. His colorful rendering is honest and touches the heart.
M. Singh has been a part of exhibitions in prestigious art galleries such as Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2015), Chitra Kala Parishath, Bangalore (Ananth Arts) (2012) among many others. His star is on the rise as M. Singh pursues his passion for art, every day.
