Shankar Gojare is a well renowned artist from Maharashtra. He completed his G.DArt from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune.
The central theme in his work are the emotions that one goes through. Ranging from anticipation to vigor to fury to ecstasy. His work is power packed and induces these feelings in an onlooker. He uses human forms or animals in his depictions. One of his most popular protagonist is the Dholi, or the drummer around whom he weaves his expression filled tales. He also depicts the bull to express strength, vigor and power. His work is dynamic in composition and attracts attention instantly due to its vibrancy.
His rich strokes and vibrant use of hues brings his work to life. His work is a burst of colors and does not only please visually but also makes one feel. His colour palette consists of vermillon, blue and ochre hues predominantly. His choice of medium is acrylic.

Shipping and Delivery
- Within India
- If you reside within India, you can expect to receive the artwork within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from time of order.
- International Shipping
- If you reside outside India, you can expect to receive the artwork within eleven (11) to fourteen (14) business days from time of order, depending on the origin and destination of the artwork as well as the time it takes to clear customs.
Packaging
- Stretched Canvas
- Most artworks on the site are on stretched canvas. The artworks will be rolled, bubble wrapped and placed inside a protective cylinder to ensure the artwork doesn’t get damaged during shipping.
- Canvas/ Wood Board/ Framed
- Paintings on wooden or canvas boards or framed works will be bubble wrapped and placed in a sturdy box. We assure you that utmost care will be taken while packing the product.
